A special memorial was held at SS Michael and Martin Church located at 94 Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3EH on 28th April 2019 in the memory of all the people who tragically died at the attack in Sri Lanka and to Bless the survivors for their speedy recovery. Many people from different nationalities and faith came to attend this ceremony to show their support and love. Program started at 4:00pm with the Mass conducted by Father Austin followed by candle lighting ceremony. Speech was given by MP Seema Malhotra stating that violence will not divide us, and we shall together united and stronger. Mayor Samiya Choudhury and High Commissioner of Sri Lanka H.E. Manisha Guasekera also offered their condolence for the massacre in Sri Lanka Church on Easter Sunday. Leader of the Hounslow borough council Steve Curran was also present there along with Deputy Mayor, Cllr Samara Singh, Cllr Jagdhis Sharma, Cllr Poonam Dhilon, Cllr Raghwinder Siddhu, Cllr Harleen Atwal and Cllr Pritam Grewal. Cllr Hanif Khan Cllr Bishnu Gurung Cllr Bandana Chopra,Other attendees were Uday Nagaraju, Nancy Chawla, Alan Rides (Chamber of Commerce) Chris Durkin (Chamber of Commerce),(lord Sardhar Singh) Rachel Haydon, Diane Richards, Navdeep Deol, Shivdeep Gill, Akhil Biswas, Hira Dhilon,Mr Athwal, Janahanda Petron Miss Surya Samaraweera. Head monk of the UK London Buddhist Vihara Seelawimala Thero Attended the memorial along with other Religious Head Zubair Awan - On Behalf of Hounslow Jamia Masjid, Sikander Hassam – On behalf of Heathrow Mosque and Atta Ur Rahman missionary Incharge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Charanjit Ajit Singh – on behalf of Hounslow Friends of Faith.

The memorial was organized by the president of Janahanda Foundation Srilal Dias with London borough of Hounslow Communities, Srilanka Christian Association and Mrs. Anny, Mr Shiran Alameda, Mrs Manoja Almeria with Members and Friends.
